This policy outlines the terms under which refunds are issued.
At Apostille Route, I am committed to providing a transparent and reliable courier service. My fees are designed to be fair to cover the specific costs of the service I provide. Please review the following policy carefully.
My Courier Fee
My fee is $ $125 for the first document and $30 per additional, the delivery is 5-7 business days. Rush service fee is of $175 for first document and $ 30 per additional document. Lastly Same-Day will be $200 for first document and $30 per additional document. The service is for the service of couriering your documents, specifically, the time, travel, parking, and effort required to personally submit them to the California Secretary of State's office in Los Angeles.
This fee is non-refundable once a courier run has been attempted, regardless of the outcome at the Secretary of State's office.
Cancellations: If you cancel your order before I have attempted a courier run on your behalf, you are eligible for a full refund of the courier fee. Please contact me immediately to request cancellation.
California Secretary of State Fees
The fees required by the state (currently $20 per document + $6 handling fee per signature) are separate from my courier fee.
These government fees are non-refundable once submitted, as they are entirely controlled by the state agency. I have no influence over their refund policies.
Client Responsibility
As a courier-only service, the preparation of your documents is your responsibility.
I am not liable if documents are rejected due to being incomplete, improperly notarized, ineligible, or containing errors.
Courier fees remain due in full if documents are rejected for any reason not directly attributable to an error on my part.
If I Make a Mistake
I strive for 100% accuracy. In the rare event an error is my fault (e.g., I fail to submit documents that were prepared correctly), my sole responsibility and your exclusive remedy will be to complete a new run at no additional courier charge.
Shipping & Handling
Shipping to Me: You are responsible for the cost and risk of shipping your documents to my address. I am not liable for packages lost or delayed in transit before I receive them.
Return Shipping: The return shipping label you provide is used for the secure return of your documents. All shipping costs are non-refundable once a package is shipped.
Abandoned Documents: Documents that are unclaimed and not retrieved within 30 days of being ready for return may be securely destroyed.
Circumstances Beyond My Control
I cannot be held responsible for delays or issues caused by:
Closures or processing delays at the California Secretary of State.
Delays or losses caused by shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Unforeseen events such as natural disasters, severe weather, or other "acts of God."
